Amaya-Soledad (Maya) McDuffie (she/her) is a 22 year old multimedia artist, and sound engineer living New York City, via Philadelphia. She graduated cum laude from New York University, where she double majored in Journalism and History and minored in Integrated Design and Media at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering.

Drawing on her multidisciplinary training, her work spans multiple mediums and styles. She currently works as a sound engineer and studio assistant. 

While at NYU, she served as an undergraduate research fellow on three separate projects, successfully organized and ran events for NYU’s Department of History, is a member of the College of Arts and Science’s Presidential Honors Scholars cohort, as well as The Grey Art Museum’s Student Friends Committee.

Her primary interests include music production, live sound processing, set design and art fabrication
